About the event
Believe it or not, they’re coming! It’ll be a weekend of workshops and social dancing, fully immersed in Bachata. Dakhóta Romero and Edwin Ferreras are globally sought-after teachers and performers that have played a pivotal role in popularizing Bachata worldwide. More specifically, they’ve introduced many around the world to the beautiful style of Bachata’s birthplace: the Dominican Republic. Everything converges in them: flavour, rhythm, beauty, authenticity and joy, all of which they’ll pass onto you during the weekend of May 25th and 26th in Vancouver.
The stellar duo will also perform that weekend at FIESTA CUBANICANA, a unique social dance party fully inspired in the contagious rhythms of two sister nations: Cuba and the Dominican Republic. That evening you’ll dance to Bachata, Timba, Salsa, Merengue, Dembow and more.
