On Saturday April 18th, the Julio Avila Cuban Band delivers a celebration of authentic Cuban music at CUBASON, blending tradition, virtuosity, and irresistible dance-floor energy. Led by bass player and singer Julio Ávila, the band brings together seasoned Cuban artists whose roots run deep in the island’s rich musical heritage.
Drawing from genres such as son cubano, timba and salsa, the band creates a powerful and joyful sound that honours the classics while feeling vibrant and contemporary. The Julio Avila Cuban Band is known for its high-energy performances and musical excellence, inviting audiences to dance, celebrate, and feel the spirit of Cuban music.
